For fifteen years, Heal Thy Self has met people in retreat venues, event rooms and online, wherever we could gather. Many of you have been part of that, and some of you have been with me since the very beginning.

Now we're building a place that's ours. A home in Sanur where you can come exactly as you are: to reconnect, to be cared for, to share it with people you love, or simply to rest somewhere beautiful.

Before we open the doors, I'm inviting the people closest to this community to be our first guests.

Before you arrive, a short questionnaire helps us understand where you are and what you need. We plan your treatments and your week around you, and adjust as you go. Every founding stay is for one person and includes:

Concept renders. The Sanctuary is an existing 38-room hotel in Sanur being renovated, opening in 2027.

Bali's calm coast

Reef-protected water, sunrise over Mount Agung, and a five-kilometre beach path linking cafés, spas and the village. Sanur is 20 to 30 minutes from the airport and Bali's favourite town for people who want to slow down.

It is also home to Indonesia's first health and wellness zone, with Bali International Hospital at its centre.

Prices are in US dollars, plus applicable government tax. This is a registration of interest only. No payment or deposit is taken until the lease is signed. After that, payments are held until opening and refunded in full if the Sanctuary does not open by the agreed date.

What happens after I register?

I'll be in touch as the Sanctuary comes to life, and you'll be among the first to hear when founding places open, with everything you need to secure yours.

When does the Sanctuary open?

In 2027, after a full renovation of an existing hotel in Sanur.

Is a stay for one person or two?

Each stay is for one person. Travelling with someone? You each secure a founding stay.

Can I give my stays away?

Yes. Stays can be used by anyone you choose, in any mix. Stays are booked subject to availability.

Do I have to do a programme?

Not at all. Before you arrive we'll ask a few questions and shape your treatments and your week around you. If what you need most is rest, that's what we'll plan. It's your Sanctuary, your way.

Who is behind it?

Heal Thy Self, founded by Rachelle Starr, with nourishment by Chef Cynthia Louise. Heal Thy Self has run retreats, programmes and events for fifteen years.
